Where the idea began
Urban Nest was born from a frustration that many Indian households quietly share. Beautiful, functional home products are everywhere, but finding them feels impossible. Endless scrolling, inconsistent quality, and no sense of how things actually look in a real space.
We noticed something else too. An Indian home has long run on jugaad — making do with whatever is to hand. That instinct is honourable and it was earned: it is how you build a life in a country that cannot yet afford otherwise. India is the world’s fourth-largest economy now. The barrier moved. The habit stayed.
It's the small things. A soap dispenser, a bath rug, a cotton jar on your countertop. The intentional little choices that quietly turn an ordinary apartment into something genuinely beautiful. None of them are expensive — they are simply never the thing a shop puts in front of you. You should not need a five-lakh budget to feel at home.
Urban Nest was built to bridge that gap. Not a store. Not a catalogue. A curated living experience, where you walk into a room, see how it feels, and discover the pieces that make it yours.
